I am a certified birth doula and trained postpartum doula. I also completed abortion doula training through the Baltimore Doula Project. After having my three children, I became passionate about all things birth and breastfeeding related. Friends and family have always come to me for advice regarding these topics, which is what led me to the decision to become a doula three years ago. I love continuously growing and learning, and applying my knowledge to helping my clients become informed of their options and support them in their decisions for their pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. I believe birth is one of the most empowering experiences someone can go through, especially when they are free to make their own choices and birth on their terms. I feel incredibly honored to bear witness to this transformative time in people’s lives. I also feel our society lacks the village parents so desperately need, especially during the postpartum period and I love that I am able to help build a little bit of that back through my work.
I live in Severn, Maryland with my husband, my 3 children and 2 bonus children and 4 cats. In addition to my great passion for birthwork, I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, concerts, skeeball and going to the theater.
