Dee Dee is a certified labor, lactation and epidoula certified through MaternityWise International. She holds a degree is Early Childhood and Special Education from Bowie State University. Spent 31 years as an educator with Calvert County Public Schools supporting students and families. While teaching, she started birth work 22 years ago supporting family and friends.
Dee Dee is deeply passionate about educating, empowering and encouraging families on their journey to parenthood.
Outside of Doula-ing, Dee Dee enjoys spending time with her family, walking with Milo (the family Labradoodle) and riding the Peloton.
